What is Artvocacy?
Artvocacy, is using visual art as a catalyst for social change. I blend the expressive power of illustration with the purposeful drive of self advocacy. Turning images into questions, awakenings, invitations to act, reflect, or simply to help others feel validated in their own struggles within the systems that oppress marginalized folk here in the USA.
A single illustration can highlight an injustice, spark empathy, and point viewers toward concrete steps they can possibly take in their lives or the communities they live in.
The goal is simple—make complex, often painful realities visible, understandable, and actionable. Whether the issue is disability rights, economic inequality, mental‑health stigma, or any other form of marginalization, I hope my artwork invites you, the viewer to pause, reflect, and then move forward with compassion and intention.

DO NOT screen shot my art!
Please only purchase and consume my art through the official links here on my website. This includes my shops, my social media, and anywhere else you follow my work — if it’s not linked here, it’s not me. My work has been stolen and reposted in places beyond my control, so if you spot my designs or prints somewhere not listed here, please don’t buy from them — and if you’re able to message me where else you saw it posted, I’d be so very grateful.
Thank you for supporting me!

Participatory Action Research (PAR)
Academic and community projects I have contributed to as a co-researcher, illustrator, and/or participant.

“The plain fact is that the planet does not need more successful people. But it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every kind. It needs people who live well in their places. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane. And these qualities have little to do with success as we have defined it.”
